After many requests from users and long waits, Netflix has finally added a button that allows users to remove a series or movies from the ‘Continue Watch’ row on the homepage.
This feature is available on the web, on mobile apps, and TVs to users worldwide. If you’re on the web, all you need to do is hover your mouse over the screen on your row, select ‘X’ (pops up with ‘Remove from Row’) and then confirm your decision.
On TV, you need to click on the show or movie, scroll down through the episodes and audio options until you get to ‘Remove from Continue Watching’ and confirm your choice.
Mobile users can click on the Menu option (with three dots) for the title in the ‘Continue Watch’ row and select ‘Remove from Row’.
Netflix will give you the option to quickly undo your selection across all devices, if you change your mind or do it by mistake.
This new feature means if you can clear your homepage of any finished movies or shows you don’t plan on seeing – making your recommendations more relevant and useful.
