How to Watch Star Trek Day

Trekkies, listen. Star Trek Day is the virtual event you need to learn some of the most important information about your favorite shows in the franchise.

Like WitcherCon, the virtual event will feature tables with celebrity casts, trailers for upcoming TV seasons, and news and release dates for brand new shows.

When is Star Trek Day?

Star Trek Day is coming, because it’s going to be tomorrow, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, and will last nearly three hours. Here’s when it started in different parts of the world:

  • 4:30 am [9 September] BST (UK)
  • 8:30 p.m. EDT (US East Coast)
  • 5:30pm PDT (US West Coast)

This is obviously a pretty early/late start for UK viewers, but the stream will be available to watch in time after it airs. Speaking of which…

How to watch Star Trek Day

The stream will be available on the StarTrek.com website to viewers globally. US viewers will also be able to follow through on Paramount Plus, and the stream will also air on the Twitch channel Paramount Plus.

If you cannot adjust directly, then never fear. All boards will be available to watch on Paramount Plus’ YouTube channel.

Star Trek Day schedule – what news and trailers will there be?

There’s a lot of fun boards going on on Star Trek Day. The live-action shows Discovery and Picard will have trailers for upcoming seasons, featuring appearances from the cast and crew, including the legend himself, Patrick Stewart.

For all-new Star Trek content, we’ll also be getting information about Strange New Worlds (debuting on Paramount+ next year), as well as the animated show, Prodigy. Both have vague release dates, so we might as well get more specifics on when they’ll be out.

Fans of the older series may also have come across pictures starring George Takei and LeVar Burton. Sadly, there’s no dedicated panel for Season 31 – a published project with an attachment to Michelle Yeoh.
