We’ve put together everything you need to know to enable these features – keep reading to learn more. We also show you how to cancel your Disney+ account.

How to Enable Parental Controls in Disney+

Disney+ subscribers will have the option to participate in Star content (TV shows and movies with ratings 14+ or higher) from the first time they sign in after Star launches (February 23).

Disney Plus offers seven profiles, which means you can set different parental controls for different profiles and lock profiles with a PIN.

Disney confirmed to Tech Advisor that the parental controls setup experience is the same across all devices. The account saves your settings to all the devices you turn on Disney+ on, meaning you only have to set parental controls once if you want.

However, if your household has multiple Disney+ accounts (you signed up with multiple email addresses), you’ll need to change the settings on each account.

All of these methods have been tested and validated by us by Disney.
