- Create your post or Story through the Create menu (the + icon at the top right of the app).
- When you get to the final Share screen, tap Tag people.
- From this menu, tap Invite collaborators.
- Search for the Instagram account(s) you want to collaborate with and tap to select them. If you choose the wrong account, just tap the X next to their account to remove them.
- Tap Done to save your settings.
- Tap Share to publish your post to the Instagram feed.
After you publish a post, all of the post’s contributors will receive a notification that they’ve collaborated. To accept, they simply tap the message in the Notifications menu, tap Review to view the post, and tap Accept or Decline.
If they accept, the post will be shared with their followers with both usernames attached.
It should be noted that Instagram has set a limit of 20 tags and associated collaborators, so don’t get too carried away or you won’t be able to share posts.
