Google Home Hub (now renamed Google Nest Hub) may work from time to time so a factory reset can be done.
We had to do exactly that when our initial setup for the device resulted in it speaking with an American accent to us and showing us US weather and news. Factory reset fixed the problem and it soon supports English in the UK.
The good news is that if you have to do a factory reset it’s super simple and can’t be done by mistake.
To reset the Google Nest Hub, simply press and hold the volume up and volume down buttons together for 10 seconds. A warning will appear on the screen that the device will be reset and if you keep holding those buttons that is exactly what will happen.
